Relay painting town purple to promote cancer awareness

Elizabethtown might look like it was doused with many cans of purple paint in May.
Relay For Life of Elizabethtown is asking area businesses to participate for free in a competition May 9-13 to decorate buildings, sidewalks and anything within reach of a ladder with purple.
Relay planners want to see drawings in lavender chalk, columns wrapped in mulberry ribbon and store front mannequins wearing mauve outfits.
