The Kentucky Family Resource and Youth Services Centers were established as part of the 1990 Kentucky Education Reform Act (KERA). The mission of the school-based centers is to remove barriers to learning so students can reach their fullest potential. A Family Resource and Youth Services Center (FRYSC) has been operating in Elizabethtown Independent Schools since 1992 and shares this mission in directing its efforts to assist and promote healthy families and student learning.
