Republican Party to host Lincoln Day dinner

The Republican Party of Hardin County will present a president, first lady, congressman, national committee chairwoman and a state representative at its annual Lincoln Day dinner on March 22 at the Historic State Theater in Elizabethtown.


Nationally renowned Abraham Lincoln re enactor Larry Elliot and his wife will portray the Lincoln’s in a 40-minute presentation of their lives in contrast, a first person presentation of their lives from childhood, how they met, their Springfield, Ill., years and their years in the White House. They end the program on April 14, 1865 as they depart for Fords Theatre.

Congressman Brett Guthrie, Republican National Committee Chairwoman and Republican Party of Kentucky Finance Chair KC Crosbie and State Rep. Tim Moore also will be featured speakers.

The event begins with social hour at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m. The cost for the dinner is $40 per person. Tickets are available online at www.hardingop.com and clicking on the donations tab and make a donation in the amount of the ticket price. Your receipt is your ticket.
