Retired Sgt. Maj. David Collins, 70, of Radcliff, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Violet Collins.
He is survived by his mother, Mildred Collins of Russell Springs; an uncle, Welby Collins; a brother and sister-in-law, Forrest and Roberta Prather; and a niece, Carol Harris, all of Louisville.
The funeral was Friday, Jan. 14, at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff with the Rev. Ron Burgess officiating. Burial was in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff with military honors.
