Rineyville Baptist Church members make bowls for Warm Blessings

Church members from Rineyville Baptist Church have been making ceramic bowls for the Warm Blessings Soup Kitchen second annual Empty Bowls fundraiser. Anyone attending the event will receive an empty bowl to remind them some people’s bowls are empty. Pictured displaying the bowls are from left, Jaimie and Brylee Bright, Tammy Drake and Amber Yates; standing, Calvin Ladnier, Rodney and Kinsey Bright, Sara and Kaylie Shreve, Lisa Carr, Michael Puckett, Molly, Jamie, Taylor and Lisa Coppersmith, Tom Spencer and Angie Ladnier. The fundraiser supports Warm Blessings meal program, serving a hot meal to approximately 80 individuals weeknights plus meal delivery on Monday and Thursday to 28 seniors who are shut-in. Other services include showers and use of the washer and dryer, along with distribution of personal items, sleeping bags and bikes to people working but with no transportation.
