KINDERGARTEN AND PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION. On April 12, Hardin County Schools will hold registration for next school year for kindergarten and preschool. Children five years old by Oct. 1 qualify for kindergarten. If your child will be four years old by Oct. 1, they might qualify for preschool. Rineyville Elementary’s registration is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Check with the elementary school in your area to be sure of its times.
RINEYVILLECOMMUNITY PARK. The Board Members of Rineyville Community Park would like to give you the opportunity to advertise your business and help the youth of our community. We are reserving space for signs along the baseball fields at the park. Funds raised from these signs will be used to purchase equipment, maintain and make improvements to the park. Between the girls and boys who play baseball, soft ball and soccer, and families that enjoy a special event or leisurely walk, the park has nearly 5,000 different visitors annually.
Advertising such as this also allows us to keep our registration fees affordable for families enabling more to play at least one of the sports offered. The cost of having a sign placed along the fence on one of the baseball fields is $250. The signs will be 5’x2’ with three colors and made out of aluminum allowing the sign to withstand unpredictable Kentucky weather for several years at a time. Advertising will be available for renewal at the same time each year for a reduced fee of $150.
The Rineyville Community Park receives no annual funding of any type through taxes or any government source. It is a completely private organization run by unpaid volunteers. It is registered under the Federal government as a 501C3 organization making any donation tax deductible.
Please contact Elaine Geer, 737-4172 or 763-2202, or Larry Fohl, 307-7314, to secure a place to advertise your business and to help make Rineyville Community Park and its program better for all.
The Rineyville Community Park would also like to thank everyone who came out and supported the fish frys at St. John Church. A special thank you to Father Dan Lincoln and St. John Catholic Church for providing the location and the opportunity for this wonderful event. It was great to see people from the surrounding churches and communities come out and enjoy fellowship and good food for a great cause.
Thank you for helping the youth and families in our community to continue to enjoy the park.
