BIRTH. Congratulations to DeNeil and Heather Whelan on the April 22 birth of their son, Marshall Gaines. He weighed 7 pounds, 3.6 ounces. Marshall’s older brother is Briley.

WELCOME. Our community has added two new businesses this month. Michelle Taylor Higdon opened PT Practice, which offers outpatient physical therapy services, and Rachel Yates Carder opened Pure Image Hair Salon.
