Rineyville man indicted in shooting of ex-wife

RINEYVILLE — A Rineyville man accused of shooting his ex-wife during an argument two months ago was indicted Tuesday by a Hardin County grand jury on the charge of attempted murder.

Darrell Wayne Hayes, 43, had been jailed at the Hardin County Detention Center on a first-degree assault charge since Feb. 23 when Kentucky State Police arrested him at his Thomas Road home.
