Rolling Thunder members gather for March meeting

-A A +A

The monthly membership meeting for Rolling Thunder Inc. Chapter Four Kentucky was March 3. Patches were awarded to Petra Gill and Randall Brantley. A junior patch was given to Zack Stinson, grandson of Ronald Mudd. New chapter members are Angela Goodman, Trent Goodman and Jimmy Brooks.

USA Cares President Peter Giusti was the guest speaker. He spoke of the history of the organization and how it offers financial assistance to active duty, veterans and retirees. Even though it is based in Radcliff, anyone can go online and apply for emergency money. Support for USA Cares is made through the general public and corporations and not from the federal government. Plans are underway for the June Never Forgotten Run and members discussed a possible 5k run and walk in September.

Monthly chapter business meetings are at 2 p.m. the first Sunday of the month at Colvin Community Center, 230 Freedoms Way in Radcliff. Meetings are open to the public. Dues are $30 per year and even though many members are veterans and ride motorcycles, it is not a requirement to join.
