RPD investigating two people of interest in Dollar General robbery

Two persons of interest have emerged in last week’s late-night robbery of the Dollar General Store in the Radcliff Plaza.

Radcliff Police Department spokesman Bryce Shumate said two individuals are being investigated by detectives. He would give no additional details because it is an ongoing police investigation.

The store was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money shortly before closing at 9 p.m. Jan. 9. A man entered the store before it closed and a few minutes later pulled out a pistol and robbed the store, Shumate said.
