WEST POINT — Police from several law enforcement agencies will be conducting vehicle checkpoints along U.S. 31W in May with the aim to reduce the incidence of impaired driving and to ensure motorists are using safety restraints.
According to West Point Police Chief Butch Curl, the safety checks will be conducted by officers from the Hardin County Sheriff's Department, Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement, Kentucky State Police and city agencies.
