School lunches going up

HARDIN COUNTY — With food prices increasing by 12 percent and milk prices climbing 10 percent for the Hardin County Schools, lunch prices also will go up next school year.

Lunch prices will shift from $1.85 to $2. Breakfast prices will stay at $1.25.

The reduced lunch price for students is 40 cents, and the reduced breakfast price is 30 cents, the maximum prices allowed by federal law.
