Boy Scouts of Troop 24 chartered by Longview United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown recently participated in the Klondike Derby at Harry S. Frazier Scout Reservation. Although there was no snow, the boys pulled their team-made sled through mud and muck. The patrol competed in events such as blindfolded knot tying, rifle shooting, rope lashing and other team events.
