The process of selecting a new superintendent for the Elizabethtown Independent Schools district begins in full next month.
The district is close to finalizing its screening committee in the search for a new superintendent.
Parents are voting for the final member of the committee — a minority parent representative — today, said Cora Wood, director of personnel, in an email.
Once the committee, which also includes representatives for the EIS school board, principals, teachers and staff, is assembled, it likely will meet in early February, Wood said.
