The search for an Elizabethtown-Hardin County Heritage Council executive director has narrowed to a handful of applicants as the board hopes to make a decision soon on who will replace former director Dana Beth Lyddan.
Kathy Helm, Heritage Council chair, said the job attracted applicants from all over the country, and about 41 resumes were received.
