September means a lot of things to a lot of people: the start of football season, the end of swim parties and barbeques, the time to start raking leaves and buying Halloween costumes. September is also the start of the giving season, when United Way of Central Kentucky officially kicks off its campaign to raise money and awareness for our community’s needs.
