When I picked up Thursday’s edition of the paper, the story on Mary Jane Stillwell immediately caught my eye.

Two weeks ago I would have skimmed the article, along with the other stories on the front page, said a quick prayer for the lady and moved on to the sports section as I normally do. Not this day. I intently read every word since my family, as Mrs. Stillwell’s, now exists in a new normal.
