Disguised meaning

Clifford May’s column, “Putin Plans to diminish the US and Obama” was an attack on Putin’s plan to avoid war cleverly disguised as an attack on Putin.

Here’s what May really means:

Putin’s proposal for a peaceful solution to the carnage in Syria is a bump in the road toward the destruction of Syria. What we really need is a strong president who is quicker to send in the cruise missiles and quicker to respond to Israel’s needs.

May knows words and can string them together, he’s an expert on public relations and has worked as director in the Washington, D.C., office of BSMG Worldwide, a public affairs and public relations company.

May’s argument is very clever because Putin is an easy target but his purpose is to attack the peaceful solution and promote a war that will destroy Syria. Don’t be fooled, May is the president of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies (www.defenddemocracy.org), a right wing propaganda machine serving the interests of Israel and the neocons.

We can expect to see more of this kind of nonsense in the mainstream media.

Watch for it.
