Mrs. Alice M. Curry, 73, of Georgetown, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008, at her residence.

She is survived by her cousin, George Riley.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Baptist Church in Georgetown with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Visitation is after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Lela Elizabeth Pemberton Ellis

Mrs. Lela Elizabeth Pemberton Ellis, 88, of Hiseville, died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milburn and Ida Pemberton; a sister, Lola Woods; and three brothers, William Bradsford, Robert Granston Pemberton and Bernice Woods.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Roy Winford Ellis; a daughter, Jean Mills (Arthur); four grandchildren, Ericka Lyn McGee (Datanya), Carol Ann Faulkner (Jerome), Marla Pillow and Rondale Mills (Jennifer); and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. CDT Thursday at Queens Chapel Baptist Church in Hiseville with the Rev. Ray Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Horse Cave Cemetery.

Visitation is after 3 p.m. CDT Wednesday at the church.

John Michael Fitzsimmons, 14, of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Glendale, W.Va., and was a freshman at Central Hardin High School. He was a member of the Y Club and was trying out for the swim team. He loved cars and video games and was interested in technology, travel and big cities.

He is survived by his parents, Michael and Michele Morgan Fitzsimmons of Elizabethtown; two brothers, Lucas and Jake Fitzsimmons of Elizabethtown; and his grandparents, Lee and Barbara Fitzsimmons of New Martinsville, W.Va., Anita Morgan of Stamford, Conn., and Jack and Sandy Morgan of Seaford, Del.

The funeral is at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Chaplain Luis Ruiz officiating. Burial will follow at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. today and continues at noon Wednesday at the funeral home.

Lisa Pendleton Graham, 39, of Buffalo, passed away Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland.

Ella Darlene Hobbs, 41, of Owensboro, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, at her residence.

Survivors include her mother, Deloise Priddy; her father, Joseph Hobbs Jr.; her stepfather, Johnie Priddy; a son, Christopher Michael Hobbs; and a daughter, Aunna Nicole Howard.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Irvington.

Ralph “Punch” Mitcham, 85, of Brandenburg, died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, at his residence.

Survivors include four children: Rebecca Richardson, Tom Mitcham, David Mitcham and Steve Mitcham.

The funeral is at 1 p.m. EDT Thursday at Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington.

Nadine Jones Scott, 65, of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville.

Victor David Trundle, 58, of Elizabethtown, formerly of St. Cloud, Fla., died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, at the VA Hospital in Louisville.

He was a security systems installer for Southeast Security Corporation and was an Army veteran of Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his father, David W. Trundle.

Survivors include his daughter, Beth Watkins; his mother, Dorothy Loveless Trundle; two sisters, Carol L. Trundle and Phyllis K. Trundle; two grandsons, Justin and Tyler Watkins; and his longtime friend, Larry Pride, all of Elizabethtown.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dixon-Atwood & Trowbridge Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Pastor Charles Hinckley officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
