Sexual abuse survivor promotes workshop for awareness

Susan Campbell wasn’t able to talk about her experience being sexually abused until recently.

“It has taken me until now to be able to get my voice back,” the 63-year-old from Elizabethtown said

Campbell said her abuser died about a year and a half ago, and she didn’t realize until after that how much that event would impact her.

Afterward, she began looking for ways to reach out to others  affected by similar situations and to promote awareness of the problem.
