Shirley Nadine Stillwell, 72, of Mount Sherman, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
She was a member of Mount Sherman Mission Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Franklin and Evelyn Carter Warren; four sisters, Carrie Richardson, Imogene Carter, Nancy Corbin and Geneva Skaggs; and four brothers, Bill Warren, Garnett Lee Warren, Forrester Warren and Dollaby Warren.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bennie Raymond Stillwell; five daughters, Patricia Stillwell of Mount Sherman, Kathy (Ron) Herring, Linda (Tommy) Cox and Renee (Brian) Patterson, all of Hodgenville, and Margie (Todd) Harned of Boston; three sons, Raymond (Kim) Stillwell, Marty (Kristy) Stillwell and Jerry Stillwell, all of Mount Sherman; three sisters, Freda Tuttle of Texas, Ella Marie Alsberry of Kansas and Zola Roy of Campbellsville; 10 grandchildren including a very special grandson, Timothy Wayne Stillwell; five great-grandchildren; and a special nephew, Lyle Warren of Buffalo.
The funeral was Thursday, Jan. 6, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Brother Guy Whitlow officiating. Burial was in the Jones Cemetery in Green County.
