Tuesday's shooting in rural LaRue County which left three people from Hardin County dead has been ruled a murder-suicide by Kentucky State Police.

KSP confirms that Steve Bottoms, 55, of Radcliff, died from a gunshot wound to the head. Barbara Walker, 51, of Elizabethtown, died from gunshot wounds to the chest and torso. KSP has ruled those deaths as homicides.

Walker's husband, 51-year-old David Walker of Elizabethtown, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, police say.

The investigation continues. A news release from KSP indicates that details of how the shooting unfolded will not be known for certain until all forensics and final autopsy reports are made available.
