Susan Simmons, board member of E-SHRM, the Elizabethtown Society of Human Resources, was awarded the Lyle Hanna Volunteer Spirit Award at the KYSHRM Leadership Conference on Dec. 2. The Spirit Award was first introduced in 2005 and is awarded annually to one Human Resources professional in Kentucky who, through their dedication of personal time, resources and expertise, helps to advance the human resources profession.
