Smith Addresses Hardin County GOP
Brian Smith, Director of Economic Development for Congressman Brett Guthrie was the speaker at the May 11 meeting of the Hardin County GOP Executive Committee held at the Nolin RECC Conference Room.
Smith briefed the members on Congressman Guthrie’s first few months in office and also discussed his staff representatives here in Kentucky. The Congressman is focused on keeping the electorate in the 2nd District informed, and address any concerns they might have relative to the federal government. As Director of Economic Development, Smith is responsible for grants and big programs as well as BRAC. After Smith spoke, the Executive Committed voted to admit Debra Tennison as a new member of the Hardin County Republican Executive Committee. The committee’s next meeting will be on June 8.
