Grandfather welcomes Kaylie Elise
Franklin Smith of Elizabethtown announces the birth of a granddaughter, Kaylie Elise Smith, on May 6, 2008, at Willis-Knight Memorial Hospital in Shreveport, La. She weighed 6 pounds, 4 ounces and was 18½ inches long.
Parents are Christopher and Nikki Smith, stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base in Shreveport, but Christopher Smith is deployed in the Middle East.
Additional grandparent is Tammy Robinson of Virginia.
Great-grandparents are Edgar and Ingrid Smith of Radcliff and Louis and Gloria Kerr of Hardin County.
