ELIZABETHTOWN — Recent projections in nationwide energy trends hint that Americans may be feeling more than a cold chill this winter as natural gas prices are expected to soar, correlating with the steady rise in oil prices.
Natural gas prices are hovering around $13 per million BTU for July and projections for the impending winter season indicate that the price will exceed that amount, up from an average of about $8 last year.
