Soccer community benefits from university success

An important collegiate athletic event took place over several weekends late this fall. The University of Louisville men’s soccer team participated in the NCAA championship tournament. Unfortunately they lost the championship game by a score of 1-0 to the University of Akron.
This sporting event was important to the athletic community of Kentucky for many reasons. First, all of central Kentucky benefits when a local university succeeds. It helps every student in our area to know about the successful events connected to University of Louisville.
