The sunshine has been a welcomed change. It will be time to start gardens soon. I have a few flowers starting to show, spring is on the way.

BENEFIT. A benefit buffet dinner, live entertainment and live auction is from 6 to 9 p.m. March 19 at Central Hardin High School for Addison Jo Blair. Addison is the 2-year-old daughter of Wes and Kelly Blair, who are both teachers in the Hardin County Schools system. Wes teaches at Central Hardin High School and Kelly at Lakewood Elementary School. Addison was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma on Dec. 28. She has been in Kosiar Childrens Hospital receiving treatments.
   The benefit includes a dinner catered by Crushed Ice Events, entertainment by local musicians and a live auction. The money raised will go to the cost of Addison’s care. Tickets may be purchased at First Federal Saving Bank locations in Elizabethtown and Brandenburg. They are $50 each or two for $75.
