We actually had a decent sized snow recently. Kentucky has had a snowy winter this year. I think most of us would rather have one large snowfall and be done.

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY. I wish everyone a happy Valentine’s Day, whether you have a valentine or not, enjoy the day and eat a little chocolate.

FUNDRAISER. A benefit gospel singing will be held at 7 p.m. Feb. 15 at Priceville Community Storm Shelter, across from the fire department for Cordell Fulkerson to raise money to pay for his trip to Europe to play his trumpet in concert in seven different countries. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

CHURCH NEWS. The Glendale Christian Church’s Ladies Circle will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

RECOGNITION. East Hardin Middle School students Olivia Kindervater and Tiffany Coogle, in response to a “My Glendale” Writing contest sponsored by the Glendale Lions Club, were selected for their best exposition. They and their families were guests of Glendale Lions Club, where each was awarded a certificate and a $50 prize for outstanding writing.  They led The Glendale Crossing Festival Parade carrying the banner.
