The winter weather arrived with a bang. Area roads were slick and dangerous but the snow made everything look fresh and clean. There is more on the way....welcome winter.
   This is the last week for Christmas shopping. I hope everyone has found the perfect gifts and can stay in and enjoy the season. Merry Christmas to those of you who celebrate and happy holidays to those of other faiths.

SCOUTS. The Cub Scouts will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at Glendale Christian Church.

CHURCH NEWS. There will be no evening services at Glendale Christian Church tonight or on Wednesday night.

NATIVITY. The Knight family once again will have a live nativity from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight.  The location is one mile north of Upton on 31W. This is an annual family tradition that they would like to share with the public.
