The Crossing Festival was a big success. My family and friends who attended had a great time,although we really missed the chili. The weather was a little cold,but we bundled up and made it through.

CHURCH NEWS. Glendale Christian Church will have trunk or treat from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

BENFIT. Everyone is invited to a lung cancer benefit for Wynema Polly Gibbons at 6 p.m. Nov. 10 at Bethesda Ministries, 1738 Ring Road in Elizabethtown. The benefit will include a chili supper, auction, gospel singing, raffle drawings and a bake sale. All proceeds will go to cover medical expenses insurance won’t cover. This is for a very good cause and for a wonderful person. Please support this cause and join for a night of fellowship and fun.
