It now is December and I am ready for some white stuff. I know many of you are frowning at this but wouldn’t it be wonderful to have a white Christmas this year? Bring on the snow.

CHURCH NEWS. First Baptist Church of Sonora’s children’s Christmas play is at 6 p.m. today. The Christmas Cantata is at 11 p.m. Dec. 23.
New Horizon Baptist Fellowship, 864 West Rhudes Creek Road in Glendale, would like to invite the community to a Christmas musical presentation of the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, at 6 p.m. today in the worship center. Glendale Christian Church will have its children’s Christmas program at 6 p.m. today. The Christian Quilters will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The Ladies Circle will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Their Christmas talent sing and share is at 6 p.m. Dec. 16. A Christmas breakfast is at 9 a.m. Dec. 23. The Christmas Eve service is at 6 p.m.
