 SpringHaven Inc. is making plans for an expansion by adding bedrooms, bathrooms and an overall facility upgrade.

The cost will be steep — about $500,000.

The domestic violence shelter is expected to add eight more bedrooms, four new bathrooms and a more user-friendly dining hall as part of 4,600 square feet of new space.
