Hello friends, I hope everyone is well. This week once again there’s not much news to tell.

BIRTHDAY WISHES AND CELEBRATIONS. Isaiah and Elijah Triplett had their birthday party at Mr. Gattis Saturday with mom and dad and grandma, cousins and their school friends .They all had a wonderful day together. On Nov. 25, their older brother, Cody Triplett, will have his 21st birthday. Happy birthday to all of my great nephews and many more,

Happy birthday to Mattie Goodman and Regina Goodman, wishing many more to both of you.

ANNIVERSARY WISH. Happy anniversary to Regina and Damnon Goodman on Nov. 22.

SCHOOL NEWS. School will be out Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to make a five-day weekend. Kiddos, have a good time.

UPCOMING EVENTS. Lakewood will have a Donkey Basketball game in December. More details to come.

There will be a fundraiser for Norma Taylor on Dec. 7. I will have more details coming up later.

THANKSGIVING. This week, as we all know, is Thanksgiving and this can be a wonderful time of the year, but for some it’s also a sad time of the year. When you are sitting at your table with your family and friends and a good hot meal, please be thankful for what you have and for those who are with you. Some where there are people who don’t have a warm home, a warm bed or even warm food and maybe no food at all. It’s sad to think about this, but we have some right here in Hardin County who are homeless.

I have so much to be thankful for, I can’t even begin to tell you. I am thankful for my home, my children and my health, my grandchildren and most of all my salvation, which I am very thankful for. May you all be blessed and be thankful. May peace be with us all.
