Stephensburg

Hello friends. As always, I hope everyone is well. The weather has once again been something else, cold late at night and early mornings and warm as spring in mid day. What a way to start of the winter.
APPRECIATION. The Norma June Taylor family would like to thank everyone who had a part in the fund raiser that will help pay for part of the funeral expenses. A special thanks to Lakewood Elementary School, Brad and Brenda Hilton and family, Delbert Masterson, The Stephensburg Volunteer Fire Department, Stephensburg Missionary Baptist Church, Liberty Chapel General Baptist Church, New Image, Set Free singers, Save-A-Lot of Elizabethtown and many other. There are too many to name each of you. From the bottom of their hearts, they want everyone to know how grateful they are.
CHURCH NEWS. Stephensburg Missionary Baptist Church, Unity Baptist Church and the Church of God of Prophecy are working together to have a play at 6 p.m. today, Dec. 16 at Unity Baptist Church. I think this is a great thing that three churches can do this. The play has cast members from all three churches and the children are having a wonderful time with this. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy this event. I want everyone who has worked so hard on this to know this means a lot to this community.
SYMPATHY. To the family of Mrs. Garnett Turner, I know you will miss her each in your own way and the communities will miss her also with all the fundraising she did for all who were in need. I know her journey was long and hard at the end, but she won her race and is in the presence of her Lord. May the peace of the Lord be with you all.
