Betty Pullen, 862-4844
Hello friends and readers. Well, we all made it another week and I’m hoping everyone is well.
Over the weekend, I went to Kevin and Janice Goodman’s benefit and the gym was full of things donated and most of all of friends and loved ones who were there to support them. I’m sure the money is greatly appreciated, but the people who came out showing their love and support means a lot. The people who helped work the benefit were great. I know the Goodman family is very thankful to all who helped.
BIRTHDAY WISHES. I have some late birthday wishes, Stephanie Ash Lampton and her sister, Vickie Ash, David Goodman, Susie Goodman, a retired coworker bus driver, and John Painter “John John.” I wish you all a happy late birthday and many happy days ahead.
Happy birthday wishes to Avery Thomas, who will celebrate his 6th birthday Jan. 22 Mama Emily Ember wants to wish him many more happy birthdays. To Jenna Marie Burba, Brenna wants to wish her little sister a happy birthday Jan. 23, Jenna will be a big 7. Happy birthday baby girl.
I had a wonderful phone conversation Sunday from one of Jessie’s cousins, Mayme Bland of White Mills. She calls from time to time and it’s always good to hear from her. Mayme wants the ladies who made the afghan for Betty Dewitt, Jessie’s other cousin, to know how much Betty loves the afghan and how warm it keeps her and how beautiful it is. I always will remember Mrs. Dewitt when she was the secretary at West Hardin High School. As long as I’ve known Mrs. Dewitt, Betty, she always had a smile on her face and was pretty, but the thing I remember most is how nice and kind she always was. Thank you Mrs. Betty Dewitt for the four years at WHHS that I was there. Little did I know I would marry her cousin later. You just never know how life is going to turn out. Mayme calls any time with news. You all take care.
