Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing well. There is not much going on in the Burg this week. I am hoping that spring will come soon and bring the sunshine. My old bones get cold these days.
I was talking with Wilma Ford, who is Mae Fern Ford’s daughter–in-law and she was telling that Mae Fern had a little set back with her surgery, but is doing much better now. I know I had a lot of people ask about her, so as of now she is improving.
COMMUNITY MEETING. A community meeting for Stephensburg Day is at 7 p.m. the last Thursday of March at the old school house behind Laker Drive In. Everyone is welcome as we want and need your support.
GET-WELL WISHES. Get-well wishes and prayers to Roy Hanna, who is a bus driver. He went to West Hardin when it was a high school and has lived in the Burg as long as I can remember.
‘THE BURG.’ The local people call Stephensburg the Burg. I still can hear my dad call it that. That has been many years ago. So when you see just Burg you will know what I’m talking about.
