Hello friends, I am sorry I didn’t have a column last week but I was so sick and my computer‘s modem went out. I hope everyone’s week has gone by safe and all is well with you.

BIRTHDAY WISHES. I want to wish my son, Alex Pullen, a late happy birthday and many more. Happy birthday also to Whitney Peters, Jade Peters, Jacob Lampton and to all of you September babies.

Correct mailing addresses are needed for the following graduates, Arvin Goodman, Barbara Campbell, Charles Pendleton, Barbara Fraze Allen, Tony Casey, Jo Ann Coghill and Frances Helm. If anyone has a mailing address or phone number to contact them, please email westhardin73@gmail.comwith the information.

CARE BLANKET PROGRAM. Hosparus of Central Kentucky appreciates everyone who has contacted the office offering to make lap quilts or blankets as a part of the Hosparus CARE Blanket Program. Your kindness, thoughts, and wonderful talents have been such a caring gift to Hosparus patients and families.  Hosparus sincerely appreciates the wonderful response to the request for help with this program. The CARE Blanket Program is ongoing with Hosparus. Please continue to keep Hosparus in mind as you make future blankets and quilts as they always are appreciated. For information, contact Annette Jones, 270-737-6300, 800-686-9577 or email ajones@hosparus.org.

GET-WELL WISHES. Get-well prayers to these special people, Tony and Brenda Bradley, Tiny and Cecil Butterworth and my niece, Vickie Ash, who is doing well. Please keep my nephew Patrick “Packy” and his wife, Jennifer, and daughter, Skylar, in your prayers. Packy is down with a little heart trouble, but the doctors think with a change of diet and exercise and trying to quit smoking, he will just fine. For this next one, well all I can say is Evel Knievel ain’t got nothing on him. Brand Helm was my neighbor for many years and the things I saw him do would make your hair stand on end. For all these people, I love you and you are very important in my life so you all take care of yourself. I’m sure there is more work to do. Sugar, I know God has his hand on you.
