More than 90 people attended the Central Kentucky Tea Party meeting on July 3 to hear Minister Michael Johnson speak about the communications gap between different minority groups and how to improve the situation. Johnson mentors inner city teens with the hopes of inspiring them to finish school and create a positive future for themselves.
He spoke of fatherless homes and the cradle to grave dependence on government support programs. He shared how the government makes it attractive to not work by providing many of the basic needs such as housing, food stamps and welfare. He also explained that most of the people he knows vote the same way all the time without thinking of the consequences.
