Tennis Commission appreciates supporters

During this busy time of year, we often stop to count our blessings. What a blessing it is to live in such a wonderful community. In the middle of the busiest season of the year, city officials, tennis players and friends gathered at the dedication of the new Freeman Lake Tennis Complex. With great thanks to Mayor Tim Walker, city council members, City Planner Ed Poppe, other city officials and employees, the tennis courts at Freeman Lake have exceeded the expectations of many and are being courted, no pun intended, by the U.S. Tennis Association, Kentucky and Southern sections. 

We also would like to thank the Elizabethtown Tennis Commission and our friends and family for their continued support and generosity. With gratitude to all our wonderful volunteers, especially Roger Pierce, and all tennis friends, we thank you and wish you blessings in the new year.
