Three area bands to compete at prestigious event

The high school band season is not finished just yet for three area schools.

North Hardin, Central Hardin and Meade County high schools are competing in the prestigious Bands of America Grand National Championships at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

North Hardin and Meade County were scheduled to compete Thursday at the home of the National Football League’s Indianapolis Colts. Central Hardin is set for a 12:30 p.m. performance today, according to the competition website.
