Three N.C. men caught with stolen car

HARDIN COUNTY — Three Charlotte, N.C. men were arrested and charged with a multitude of crimes Monday after fleeing from Kentucky State Police in a stolen car that ultimately crashed at the intersection of Ky. 86 and Ky. 920.

According to KSP reports, a trooper attempted a traffic stop of a Toyota Corolla speeding westbound on Ky. 86 Monday shortly before 5 p.m.

While attempting to stop the vehicle, the trooper learned that the car had been reported stolen from a Charlotte, N.C. owner.

The vehicle crashed into a utility pole when its driver tried to turn onto Ky. 920. All three occupants fled on foot but were apprehended near the scene of the accident without incident, police said.

The driver, Billy L. Bradshaw Jr., 21, of Charlotte, N.C., was charged with receiving stolen property, fleeing police, wanton endangerment, speeding, driving without a license and burglary.

Two teen passengers were also charged with receiving stolen property and fleeing police. One of the teens was released to a relative shortly after the incident.
