Town hall meeting to benefit Vine Grove rec program

By JOSHUA COFFMAN jcoffman@thenewsenterprise.com VINE GROVE — The city’s seasonal town meeting Thursday night will raise money to benefit the recreation department. The Vine Grove baseball fields and sports programs receive no city funding and the fields and playground were damaged by floods earlier this year. The town meeting, which has been moved from Optimist Park to the Community Center, will feature live entertainment along with a meal and auction to raise money. It begins at 6:30 p.m.
