With temperatures expected to fall into the 20s overnight, the National Weather Service has issued a travelers' advisory for Hardin and all neighboring counties.
Wednesday's rain and snow combined with the cold will make roads hazardous. Wet or untreated neighborhood roads likely will freeze, creating icy surfaces, the NWS statement said.
If you have travel plans tonight, take extra care, reduce speeds and increase stopping distances. The road issues also will complicate Thursday morning's rush hour commute, the weather service said.
