Emergency responders work the scene of a crash Thursday evening south of Exit 91 on Interstate 65 in Elizabethtown. Bert Sweeney of Radcliff was driving a truck and towing another truck on a trailer and was in the process of using an emergency turn-around after missing his exit, police said. While blocking both northbound lanes, the vehicles were hit by a car driven by Miriam Paramore of Louisville, said Greg Lowe, executive officer for the Hardin County Sheriff's Office. Sweeney and two passengers in his vehicle were uninjured and Paramore sustained non-life threatening injuries.
