During the Kentucky Federation of Women’s Clubs Convention held in Lexington, two ladies from the Woman’s Club of Elizabethtown had the honor of being among 12 Kentucky club members chosen for “The Outstanding Empowering Women’s Award.” They received star shaped paper weights with the inscription of “KFWC Empowered Woman 2007.
The criteria involved many aspects but mainly showing leadership not only in the various areas of Woman’s Club but branching out into the community.
