Two Elizabethtown residents were flown by emergency helicopter from the scene of a two-car crash Sunday on Ky. 1600 near the Hardin-Meade line.
Sheila Crowe, 26, and Robert Chapman, 27, both were airlifted to University Hospital in Louisville with head injuries, Kentucky State Police reported.
At 11:15 a.m. Sunday, Crowe was driving a 1991 Mercury Topaz on Ky. 1600 when a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer pulled from the intersection of Ky. 920 into her vehicle’s path, Trooper Sam Shacklette’s report says.
