Two Radcliff women were arrested Sunday afternoon following a stabbing that sent a man to University Hospital in Louisville.

Jieruanna Laporte, 18, is charged with attempted murder while Joilyn Palacios is facing a charge of tampering with physical evidence.

According to police, Laporte and Palacios were engaged in an argument with a male roommate, a former boyfriend of Laporte's, when Laporte allegedly stabbed the man twice in the upper right leg.

The alleged victim was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital before being transferred to University Hospital. He is now in stable condition, police say.
