19-year-old Radcliff man shot in the face while riding in a car

Kentucky State Police are investigating a shooting Friday night in Radcliff that left an adult male with a gunshot wound to the head.

The victim was discovered at the T-Mart convenience store in Radcliff on the corner of South Dixie and Blackjack Road. The Radcliff Police Department received a call about the shooting at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

A KSP statement said the preliminary investigation revealed someone fired several gunshots into a Ford passenger car in which five men were traveling. 

A 19-year-old Radcliff man sitting in the front was struck in the face with one of the rounds. No one else in the vehicle was injured. 

The teenager was flown to the University of Louisville Hospital where he is listed in critical condition. His name has not been released.

KSP Post 4 Detective Ryan Johnson is conducting the ongoing investigation.
