RADCLIFF — While focus and concentrated thinking can be difficult for the schizophrenic mind, Samuel R. Himes is able to express his thoughts and experience through poetry in his latest book, “103 Shadows Set Free.”
The book is a follow-up to his first published piece, “102 Shades of Blue,” which Himes describes as more of an anthology. His most recent book is strictly poems.
“In this book, I’m allowing the reader to see a little bit more of me this time,” Himes said. “It’s more personal.”
